Job Overview:

The Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of the Sarasota branch's operations, focusing on delivering top-tier service to our commercial clients. This individual will lead the day-to-day activities, managing teams, coordinating with customers, and ensuring that the branch runs efficiently. As a key player in expanding the branch’s presence, the Operations Manager will be responsible for building strong relationships with Maintenance Managers, Facility Managers, General Contractors, and Commercial Building Repair Managers to grow the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Branch Leadership: Manage the overall operations of the Sarasota branch, including staffing, scheduling, and job assignments.
Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers such as Maintenance Managers, Facility Managers, and General Contractors to drive new business and foster repeat clientele.
Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of technicians and office staff, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer service standards.
Project Oversight: Oversee commercial installations, repairs, and troubleshooting of door hardware, access control systems, and CCTV systems.
Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities to grow the branch’s customer base in the commercial market.
Customer Service: Ensure that customer needs are met efficiently and professionally, maintaining a high level of satisfaction through timely communication and project execution.
Operations Management: Manage inventory, budgeting, purchasing, and logistics to ensure smooth operations and profitability.
Compliance: Ensure that all operations comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in commercial door hardware, door repair/replacement, access control systems, and CCTV systems (installations and troubleshooting).
Strong understanding of physical security systems and their applications in commercial settings.
Demonstrated ability to manage a branch or team, with experience in operational and team leadership.
Ability to build strong, lasting relationships with customers and partners in the commercial building maintenance and repair industry.
Strong customer focus, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a hands-on approach to branch management.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience managing or growing a physical security business, particularly in the commercial sector is a plus.
Familiarity with the Sarasota market and key industry contacts is a plus.

Additional Information:

The Sarasota branch serves only commercial clients; candidates should have a strong background in commercial work.
This is a leadership role, and the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate initiative and drive in expanding the branch’s customer base and operations.

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience, plus performance-based bonuses. Company Vehicle and Expense Account.
